    No problem Robin, there wouldn't be a community without people like you.

    I agree with Robin. I'm a bit of a forum fanatic so I visit quite a few from time to time
    But there are only 2 that are really pleasant places to deal with - Linux Forums and Woodys Lounge.
    Woody's Lounge mainly covers that other operating system so I don't need to go there so often (at all?) now.

    Well thanks Fingal.
    And Peteh. I agree. I did go to this forum for a Question and all they did was make a fool out of me. And the Moderator did even Flame me -.-;
    I really like Linuxforums and I also like gentoo-forums

    But Linuxforums is my all time favorite (Check my Postcount )

    I'm old enough not to take flames personally... I was more insecure when I was younger. But still, I think the atmosphere of a board suffers from it.

    I've read ample of warnings to new users, warning them for the community (in general). And even explaining why people get flamed and how to avoid this. Here, on Linuxforums.org, I've yet to see a flame. I think that's great!

    People here remain friendly, and what I also like is the way the 'which distro' problem is resolved. Now I know a complete newbie would like to hear that distro A is better than distro B, but alas it's not so simple.

    ---

    Pffff, Robin, flamed by a moderator?? If ever there was a sign that a board was ill, it'll be a flaming moderator. You're only defense IMHO against that is the <remove bookmark> function.

    Well normaly I dont take Flame personaly since well I most of the time I dont care and thing they are funny.

    But if somebody tells me I am stupid and have to learn to read that I am a moron and that even kids can read and write I get so Angry.
    Since well since I am Dyslectic I am doing a very low education. And (if I may say this about myself) I am pretty smart...
    But, well I really hate that.
    You have no idea (back when I was 7~10) how often I got upset after studing for Quite a long time (about a week) and I got a F back..
    That really hurts... (This applyes to France and German Studys not for the logical things like Math)
    I have been bullyed so much course of it. I lost SO many job chances course of it..
    So well, thats why I take that Flame personal..

    Well, thanks all for not making fun of me..
    I try helping lots of people here. I think I am really going to miss you all when I am on my Holiday (Quite sad aint it :P?)

    Cheers,
    Robin

    Wow, I like you even more now.
    My best friend since middle school is dyslexic, as well as ADHD and about twelve other things he needs medication for (not that all the medications he takes are needed or legal...). It makes for an interesting life, but I totally repsect those who try and overcome challenges, especially those out of their control (like dyslexia, racism, society, et cetera).
    As for whatever language barrier you might have, I never noticed it. It takes a special kind of arsch to pick out a stray capital letter or the like, especially in this day, where everyone thinks "1+ iz S000 kul to m!zpell thingz on purpoz."

    @CARLOSPONTI:
    GOOD, THAT I DONT HAVE A CAPS BUTTON MY MY PC ROFLMAOZORS!!!!!!!!!11111oneone
    But all from that apart., I guess we dont have that much here since we are all a bit more grown up. (No offence to the kids around here)

    @Ryokimball
    Well, thanks I know how your friend feels. I had lots of stuff for it aswell. And I dont have ADHD. My girlfriend has so well we know how it is. The thing is why I still can do Highlevel stuff on PCS (programing and analyzing and stuff) is since we have Syntax Hilightnight we have lots of tools like Aspell that helps us all.
    I love to read. But I dont do it. But I do Order LOTS and LOTS of computer books. Often to peek in them and hoping I learn something...
    I have terible Dyslexia (I once did read a book and a mate from me did the same, but when we talked about it it was like we read another book ) but well I love to try stuff out. So well there are worse things then Dyslexia. Like being Blind of Numb.. Or War Victems..
    Or Steve B.(bad joke?)

    Cheers,
    Robin

    edit:

    Oh and 1337-speak has a Official name in Dutch
