SuSE 5.1 as you can see in my signature. I loved it.

I was seduced by SUSE 5.1.

Suse is good, my sisters work used to run all their machines on suse and everyone got free suse plushies at the work so the office looked like it had a lizard plague going on.

Yeah "the good times"! I was so miserable but loved every minute of it.
I started with Redhat 5.2 and I remember thinking,,,"what the hell have I just done to my computer?" Life just ain't been the same since.

I started with Suse 9.1 personal.
Then i started trying other distros such as debian
FC1 and each one since. FC never lasts very long on my hard drive.
Gentoo, which I am going to install on a 500 mhz comp with 256 MB ram this weekend.
Sourcemage, which I currently have on that old comp.
I have also tried Mepis, Arch, Sidux, and a few more that I can't remember right now.
Currently I have Sabayon on my laptop.
I still check distrowatch every day for new distros that look interesting.

I started with Suse 10.0 around 2 years ago, it was ok, YaST was helpful at the time, but it got slower, and then moved into debian.

I started with RH9 but installation wasn't successful. FC5 was my first Linux distro. I dont remember how many I have tried till today. Just installing and testing whatever I get in my test machine.
FC5, FC6, Gentoo and Ubuntu stayed in HD for long time. Using Debian these days and I am loving it. Its going to stay longer than any other distro.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
