dyne:bolic anyone?
I've been using linux a number of years now so I've tried out a lot of distributions and today stumbled upon one I totally forgot existed Dyne:bolic. I know it's not much effort to just download and burn the thing and boot it up via livecd but I'm in the mood to just sit down and take the time to install something.
So I'm wondering for you people out there who've tried Dyne:bolic what your opinions of it are.
On another note, I'm in the middle of Moving to Melbourne, Aus and always on the look out for interesting linux users to hang out with (though I must admit I'm rather quiet when it comes to social situations).

Bit of a niche distribution, but it does fit that niche rather well.
Some oddities - everything runs as root, you can store settings (nesting) or copy the whole distro to any hard drive and the cd will detect it on boot (docking).
Have used it once or twice for some audio processing. Tis good, I like it.

"pentium1 or k5 PC 64Mb RAM and IDE CD-ROM"
I wonder if it can still do that 64MB thing while using openoffice.org

I tried dyne:bolic awhile ago, I didn't much care for it.
Then the other day I saw it was on the list that RMS recommends because it has all free software.
Distros on that list IMO are crippled IMO.How to know if you are a geek.
when you respond to "get a life!" with "what's the URL?"
