I have a home network with 2 pc's (one uses suse 9.1 and the other slackware 10).what about you?

Unfortunatley everything on my home network is windows, even the server, but it is going linux, my brother and i have duel boot

Everyone should dump windows - exspecially on server end - I run linux, 3 PC's and pc's accessing via WAN - works great - have duel boot but havn't booted micro-crap windows in a month!

Umm...I'll have to take some pictures of my setup. It's pretty much the same that we install into BB&T's banks.

But as for boxen...I have my box, a mail server and smoothwall fwall running Linux on the network. My roommate will soon be running Linux on his desktop (and hopefully lappie, too). And my iBook (gentoo) should be working soon along with a local rsync server.

I have a mixed home network...

Mandrake 10.0/Win XP Pro Dual Booting (my PC)
2x Windows XP Pro
Red Hat 9 PC used primarily for data storage in my dark and dirty and cold basement.

on my network i have my laptop which runs slackware 10 and my server which is slackware 9 and then my roommates which is winxp.

Currently i have my gateway which is IPCop, My web/mail/dns server is running Debian in a DMZ, My file/rsync/compile/general server is running Gentoo, My laptop is running Gentoo and my dads is Mandrake/XP.

I have a demonsoulsuckingbuttrapeing based network, and find it to be the most impossible thing to keep secure and maintain, but one upside, i have my desktop (gentoo/mandrake) and 2 servers, both gentoo (one web/ftp, one fileserver) the other 8 are demonsoulsuckingbuttrapeing, assorted wired/wireless. (This is my home one, The work ones are still primarly windows, but a few macs, and some cool people that run linux (i like to give them a few extra megs on the web and fileservers.....)
