When I was in college I saw fliers for a sorority whose mascot was a penguin. Guess what picture they used? We got a kick out of it. They were advertising Linux and didn't even know it.

Ahh, the facial hair issue...
In my youth facial hair worked for me and against me. When I was 11, 20-year old girls flirted & made fun of me because of it, and this one time I was trying to do that carnival game where you hit the lever with a hammer and ring the bell --he set it to the "adult" setting (it was digital) and didn't tell me just because I had facial hair, so I lost $15 trying to get my gf a balloon hammer.

I chose December 28th because that was the day I originally posted this poll and polls generally run for a year. There's nothing more scientific about it.
