Oh, and thanks MikeTBob.

KDE4/ArchLinux

Here's a shot of my new KDE4 setup:

I'm not a big fan of eyecandy at all so this is really quite extravagant for me.

Code:
Distro: Arch Linux
Desktop:	KDE4
Wallpaper:	EOS-8 (1920x1200)
Terminal:	Konsole
File Manager:	Dolphin
Oh, and there are some broadband speed tweaks in the terminal window for anyone interested.

Hi Bryan !

Thanx for the suggestion. Actually I didn't want to install duplicate copies of same package but I have installed it now and using it.

I hope you enjoy it. If you're anything like me, you prefer nice desktop integration (hence why I use gnome over kde).

Thanks jayd!

Maybe I'll start to like eyecandy if I stick with it long enough. I really wasn't very fond of KDE4 when I first started to play with it, but it's growing on me now and I do see huge potential here.

Right here's my new Ubuntu Hardy desktop. Gnome 2.22, Avant Window Navigator and the usual apps running. Blended them from Gnome-Look, Nuovext 2.2 icons and the colour schemes from KDE and Gnome have been synchronised to give a more unified look.

Not usually big on dock like applications but I'm giving this a run for a few days anyway.

EDIT - Sorry - had to pull my screenshots. Yet again I wasn't paying attention and left personal information up in the screenshot
