Very Cute dog, what kind is it?
And your desktop looks fine to me, I'm a big fan of the uncluttered no-icons desktop.

I like that... very clean, no clutter getting in the way. That's the way I like'em!

Thanks for the kind words, glad you like it! And another..

It's been only a few days since my last post, and I decided to make some changes to slim down my desktop. I love the results.
New themes: GTK, Metacity, Icons. And a new wallpaper.

    Details:
    Metacity: nMetacity
    GTK2: Tango Inspirat
    Icon Theme: Gnome-Brave
    Window Title Font: MonteCarlo Sans
Terminal Font: ProFont (also use this in gEdit for scripting in perl)
    Wallpaper: Colors by "panic tape"

    Hi.
    I'm new to this forum.

    Here's my desktop:

It's a laptop with Gentoo and Fluxbox.
Other visible software are Eterm, Conky and WMdrawer
The style is Emerge with the background from Artwiz.
EDIT: Oh, yes, I use the GTK-theme Clearlooks Compact, but it's not visible in the screenshots

Well I can see from your configuration that you're not new to Linux
