Post Your Desktop Screenshots - 2008
Guidelines
Please do NOT post full resolution shots because they play havoc with the forum borders. Instead, post the URLs to your screenshots, or post thumbnails of them.
If you don't have your own upload storage space you can post URLs or thumbnails using one of the free image hosting services such as ImageShack. You should use the "Thumbnail for forums (1)" link code that is supplied to post your screenshots here.
The thumbnails will look similar to this:

Don't forget to include any links to your wallpaper, configs, names of icon themes, running apps, DE/WM, or other important information in the same post to reduce all unnecessary clutter later.
Once the new year begins, please don't post new screenies in the old threads.
Note: the old screenshots thread has been locked and can be found here:

A week old, and I'm the first to share my scanty screenshot..

Anyway, this is a FreeBSD 6.2 (low-end) laptop running fluxbox. The lovely background I got from caedes.net (which I know nothing about other than I liked some of their artwork). The Austin weather is courtesy adesklets + weatherforecast.
That's it. Clean and simple.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I really like all the above! Very nice guys! Y'all know me by now. King of the simple and austere desktop.

Mine's pretty plain. Like some others, I'm pretty happy with the way Gnome looks so I don't do much other than periodically change my wallpaper. I snapped this while working on a rant.
