Do an advanced search of the Coffee Lounge for free books and/or ebooks and you should get lots of hits.

Very useful link oz, I just received this for a Christmas gift and it's quiet a Treasure even if it is out of print. It had a $119.96 price tag on it, but we got it at half price books for $29.98.
I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

This might be on the verge of "old," but I found Scribd a few hours ago, and have been looking through it ever since. Goto computers, UNIX (and filter for English, for best results) and there's a few good books there, such as Introduction to Unix (there's even a book on GRUB!). I've been looking at lots of other stuff, and I'm pretty sure some of it borders if not crosses copyright laws, but there are plenty of public domain/"Creative Commons"/free stuff, too.
Just thought you'd like to know....

I mostly enjoyed the Sybex books for the most part. They were a good study guide for me.
Of course, I read every book about linux I can get my hands on still, but that is just the way I am. I also like O'reilly books. Very well written and loads of info.
Although, no amount of reading will make up for experience. Which Linux certification are you studying for?
