Any opinions on Zonbu?
I'm think about getting their MiniPC w/o the plan, which will run to $290 (after discount code 5OFF, in case anyone is also interest). The specs are good enough to replace any low end desktop, for the same price, and a lot smaller package. I think the reason I like it the most is the 10W maximum power usage (the power supply is rated to 10W) and the size.
I was thinking about building a Mini-ITX-based PC myself, but the cases are relatively expensive ($100 range) and rack up the price quite a bit, the cheapest that can be done with similar specs (using the Intel Mini-ITX board) would be $250. I then thought to go with a MicroATX system, but the size and additional power consumption turned me off from it.
I'm wondering if any of you guys have any feelings/opinions/suggestions about this PC? Anyone have one (lack of customer review on the website sucks)?
PS: The reason for this post is because I want to get a real desktop as my main system (right now I use a laptop) but don't want anything more than what I need (internet mostly, occasionally I develop/compile my own software for fun), and mini PCs are an interesting alternative."Today you are freer than ever to do what you want, provided you can pay for it!" --Bad Religion
