Learning Books
Hiiii,
This is to inform you that I have installed red hat linux 9 just a month ago. I am new to the linux platform. So can anyone suggest me the name of a good book/few reference books for learning red hat linux(version 9) from the beginning. The book should be helpful for newcomer in red hat linux 9, containg different applications with some programming examples from the starting, so that we are able to work under red hat linux 9.
Plzzzz give me the name of the book/(or books) with author, so that as a beginner I can grasp red hat linux 9 properly from beginning to depth knowledge. Your reply is requested atmost.............byeeeeeee......

Welcome to the forums!
Look around for the Red Hat Linux 9 Bible by Christopher Negus. You can usually find it for a good price at amazon.com
Have fun with Linux.oz

One thing you can do is get rid of Red Hat 9 because its now old and unsupported. Install Fedora 8 or CentOS which is a free rebuild of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. If you decide to go with CentOS, you can download the free docs from the Red Hat website.

Oh, and you can find some free ebooks here:

I'm not sure just how much any of them deal directly with RH9, but they are all Linux related.oz
