I have now got XUbuntu installed and running on my eee pc. It is much, much

That went suprisingly well..

In fact I'm posting from it now
I have all my usual tools installed ad running... Apache, MySQL, PHP, subversion
and my usual editors. I am all ready to able to work anywhere.If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)

Congrats. I am thinking of getting one of those Asus laptops, but would probably go for a different distro coz I am not really a fan of *buntu or Xandros.

You're quite right, I did mean now and have updated my original
post.
The eee pc is a great little beastie, but I didn't like the OS it came
with. I did consider having a go at installing Vector on it, which
would really fly, but I went with the simple option and hey, I like
XUbuntu If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
