Distro Recommendation from a noob to a noob.
I have been messing with linux for 2 days now and I'v got to say SESU has to be the easiest one for us noobs. It's Software(YaST) installer makes it so easy to install anything. I tried ubuntu also and I had some troubles with it.
But yeah, if your totally new to linux like I am, try SESU.

Hi and Welcome !
Its SuSe not sesu.
Well ! Distro choice depends on available Hardware specs and likes/dislikes. One can install any package, Desktop Environment and looks in any package. No one can tell which distro will work for other.
Anyways, have fun with SuSe and enjoy Linux ! Dont hesitate to start a new thread if you have any question. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

SUSE is the best I think

I love Coffee Lounge, I can post all I want and not feel guilty
Personally, I think PCLinuxOS is the best. I can't even begin to imagine how good 2008 is going to be when the full version comes out. I have been running 2007 since June. Even with all the other distros I have tried, I always had PCLOS running on at least one computer. I have had the least problems with it.
However, I am not blind to how very good SUSE is. Others as well: Ubuntu, Fedora, Mandriva, and Arch all have a lot more going for them than a lot of other distros. However, it's like a wise man once said (that wise man being DevilsCasper), "it really does come down to hardware and preference."
(Greatly paraphrasing)Using Linux since June 2007
Distros: Mint 12
SPECS: AMD Atholon 64 X2 5400+, 2GB RAM, GeForce 8800 GTS
When your whole life is on one computer, servers and all, choose stability over anything else.
