File System Development...Educational Project
I am writing to all those interested about an open source project I started a few months. It is on a new file system holding a new concept to logging/journaling methods. It is called SJFS (Symmetric Journaling File System) for the 2.6.x Linux platform. So far there are only a couple of members as developers and I would like to encourage all that are interested to get involved.
This project is for educational purposes and if it gets anywhere, then all involved can be proud of being involved. For more information you can view the project on sourceforge:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sjfs
You can also view the architectural spec (work in progress) posted on the CVS repository: SourceForge.net Repository - [sjfs] Index of /sjfs_alpha/docs
The Coding Standards Doc is also in this directory.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at development@petroskoutoupis.com
The only prerequisite is that you must enjoy development on the Linux platform. This entire project is in C. I hope to see some of you involved.
Regards,
Petros Koutoupis
