i finally figured soemthing out in linux enough to post HELP not request it... it makes me warm and fuzzy inside... if anyone who is semi familiar (i dunno if its only slackware) with slackware and wants to check my thread to correct me im sure i must have made a mistake or two.

Where were you a year ago?? I've spend an entire afternoon working on getting my new printer to work. A job so easy it now taken me <1 minute. It's just that I couldn't get my mind around having to manage my printer from the browser.
