| Finally switched distros I've been using Ubuntu for about a year. It's a nice distro, but it just seems to get buggier and buggier. I really felt that Gutsy was worse than Feisty, especially with stuff like Suspend being broken when it worked fine before. (I think the new Intel drivers are not so hot and are the root of the problem). Anyways, I had tried out KDE before on Kubuntu Feisty, and it was pretty awful. I recently gave OpenSUSE a shot, and I really like it. The RPM stuff is a little different, but the basic setup just seems better to me. I also like that /home is a separate partition by default. I'm kinda surprised Ubuntu doesn't do this. Anyways, after a couple days using the LiveCD (which had one problem that I fixed), I finally just wiped Ubuntu and installed OpenSUSE. It seems much more stable, and everything works better than it did before. It is a bit slow, but nothing earth-shattering. I will be posting one help thing for it, but other than that, everything has been working great.
