First look: Haiku poetically resurrects BeOS
Just spotted the article on arstechnica, I'm definitely going to give it a try, what's your opinions on it? and out of curiosity anyone ever try BeOS when it was alive and kicking?

I used BeOS 5 a while and really liked it. It was VERY fast! I downloaded and tried to use the Zeta live cd but couldn't get it to work satisfactorily. Funny thing is, they made the Zeta live CD in a format that most Linux burners couldn't use. You had to download the Linux version of Nero in order to burn it. I wrote them an email saying Linux users would likely be far more receptive to trying their OS so why are they not offering the demo version in an .ISO?? Never heard back from them.

Everyone I hear about BeOS is very very positive. And this is a rebuild of that. But it's currently under development. If you like to get involved in a project that builds an OS from the ground up this is a good one.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Actually, I've been keeping an eye out on this one for some time now. It began with a curiosity of BeOS because my dad said he wished it had really taken off (but didn't say anything about it...). BeOS was the first OS to LEGALLY have mp3 rights bundled in it, and is supposed to be really made for multiprocessor computers, to my understanding. Besides the fact I like haiku poetry, I'm pretty much looking at any OS that I come across. There was another OS that caught my attention, MenuetOS (written in assembly), but neither of these would run appropriately on my computers. I'll look into both of them once they are "finished."
