    im running windows xp but i can run a live cd if i need to

    i need to know this so i can transfer ram to another computer without bying new ramchips

    Well you could open it up and take a look, or if you prefer the
    simple way, point Internet Explorer - yes it has to be that browser
    - at the crucial.com activex system scanner tool
