[SOLVED] firefox question

is there a way to make it so firefox DOESNT dump my browsing history?

and another sorta related question.
me and my cousin were arguing over whether or not history (not cookies or cache) has a noticeable effect on browsing speed.

Open Firefox
Edit>Preferences>Privacy> set the history to expire when you want.
And in my Opinion, the Browsers history has nothing to do with network speed. It's probably safe to Jack slap your cousin and say I told you so!

Believe it or not, my current job is internet tech support for a pretty reliable provider. And I can tell you that unless you do an *obscene* amount of surfing, then the cache will not make any difference in browser speed. I say that, and still dump it every time FireFox closes.

But you can still do like MikeTbob suggests... Jack slap sounds good to me.

Do you ever just want to yell at a typical Windows user: "Just install Linux and be done with it!"
