Hi --

I started a new section on my little forum called Feed a Geek. Thus far I have 2 boards there -- Recipes and Projects/Events.

We all like to eat, right? Food is love. Spread the love.

What I am after is another angle on how to get the community more excited about Linux, specifically, Debian. However, if this little thing I'm doing takes off at all, and it can, open source as a whole can be effected in a positive way. You know, instead of fighting with ourselves all the time about what the best DE is or what Linus thinks about....and stuff.

Sure, I'd love if people posted handy geek-feed recipes but what I really want is to open up the projects/events part of the show. Walk for Hunger kind of stuff, food co-ops, kitchens, you know, All these things and those related are important parts of any community as are we all. Some of us are involved in those things and our communities love us for it. We feel good and goodness is done. Let's tie it all together.

Food helps people live and Linux helps computer users live better. It's hand in hand.

Thanks for reading and I hope that some of you share my interest and become part of it. Oh, and if you don't know what to make for lunch, or dessert tonight, I posted 2 of my family's favorites in the recipe section.
