    Hello

Hi everyone, my name is Matt. I am a recent graduate from ITT's Associate of Science Degree in Computer/Electronic Engineering Technology. I am 24 years old, and someone who uses linux off an on depending on the circumstances. Right now one of my bachelor classes is C Programming in Linux and I am trying to configure Wolvix & Knoppix through GRUB to work on a USB Thumbdisk, which is proving harder than I thought.

    Welcome to the forums!

Are they recent releases? Some of the older releases didn't include USB support in the initrd to allow booting from the USB disk. Generally syslinux is used to boot from a USB device rather than GRUB.
