    What's with the dancing bananas?

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Beats me. They were much more popular at one time (some threads had hundreds of them, and I believe there was actually a thread dedicated just to posting bananas). Thank goodness that madness has passed.

Also, back when we had little penguin icons, the number of which indicated your postcount and user status, they were given as rewards for passing a certain threshold. When someone became a "guru", they received lots of bananas.

Here are some bananas for you:

I tried to give you more than four, but that doesn't work any more either

    I must apologise.

It's all my fault. I let them out again. Well as the guys said it used to be a big tradition as you reached various ranks or were celebrating something. I sometime post them in new user threads but someone mentioned not getting any...and now I have to make sure everyone gets them!

    Here you go....

That might have been the direct result of the banana thread, where there were literally hundreds per post.

We're actually members of a cult called the Church of the Online Banana. Bananas form an essential part of our sacred rituals.
