Why do you ask ?

but most of them pick themselves up
and hurry off as if nothing had happened.

Battery Monitor Applet for XFCE 4
I'm asking this question just because i wrote a plugin for the XFCE4 panel that monitors the battery and i want to share it with everyone else, please if you try it, let me know if it's good, or if you have any problem with it.
the applet uses Dbus and HAL, i tested this applet with Slackware 12.0 and current, Ubuntu 7.10,7.04. but it should work on any distro has HAL and Dbus.
Please have a look on this page.
