Hi itics, glad to have you with us!

Why did you decide to install Red Hat? This is mostly used on business servers these days. You may find Fedora a more satisfying experience, assuming your computer has the specs, that is.
    Distribution: Archlinux
    Processor: 3 x Amd 64 bit
    Ram: 4 GB
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT

I agree try Fedora first esp. version 8. Best version so far for me.

    Hi itics !

    Welcome to the LinuxForums !

If you are not facing any trouble ( software/hardware ) with RedHat then I would suggest you to stick with that only for some time. There are tons of Linux Distros available and more than 90% are free to download/install. Check distrowatch.com.

Btw, which version of RedHat are you using? If you have installed RH9 then I go for Fedora 8 as suggested by other members. RH9 is an obsolete distro.

    Have fun with Linux !
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
