wrong place i think
now i'm sure a lot of you that visit here often have noticed me asking questions about vector linux, and i have another, but im sure this is the wrong place for it! I have been posting here because this is a place that i get answers quicky, and more importantly, im not sure which distro it would be under, slackware or other? I'll ask my question here and if it needs to be moved, please do so!
Anyway, I cant install VL i keep getting these problems
and a close up of the last line:
I have tried several times, and tried a new copy, then a new downloaded image.
I recently Pmagiced it because the partition was bigger than the harddrive and i couldnt access it. did i screw up ith pmaic maybe?
any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Stinkomanplease click my minicity!

did you try just pressing enter? boot the cd and press enter at the prompt
Vector is based on slackware so the slackware pages would be the best choice for future posts I think. Other distrobutions is another choice. Both would work for this question

I am new to linux and would like to be helpfull as I just installed Vector linux5.9.
However there is very little information to go on.
If you have downloaded the VL5.9 std gold ISO and burned it to a cd.
your bios is set to boot the cd.
your system is a unit set up for linux, IE a p2 with 128 meg ram or better and a 4gig linux partition on the primary drive for the installation
then I see no reason why booting the cd and pressing enter will not boot it unless the cd is corrupted or you have a hardware issue...ie the drive is faulty or the burn speed was an issue.
after this you will press enter again and then choose the location of the info..just follow the onscreen steps and it installs itself.
I just attempted to install to a 1gig which is to small for the install and it installed what it could and then posted that there was an error but not to panic as it was likely something simple...and it was.. I need a larger drive...so ...not sure how I can help.
If you desire the install provide more information?
