Hi dipan007 and welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy your Linux journey but you must know that RedHat 9 is positively ancient. The next step after that was Fedora Core one and Fedora is now up to Fedora Core eight! I loved RedHat 9 and ran it a long time, but there have been so many improvements and changes in it that you really should check out the latest that "RedHat" has to offer. At any rate, all of us are more than willing to help.
