Well, I have to say I don't have luck. The country where I live has very bad internet connection, and I pay $70/month for 0.1Mbit/s ( around 12 - 16kbs)...

Say wha? When did this shift occur? Any inkling of who's accommodating who's point of view?

It wasn't all that detailed, but I found this article that is somewhat related.

Sorry Questio; I should have posted a link. My bad!!

Free Press: Stanford Hosts FCC Hearing on Future of the Internet

I'm sure whatever fireworks occur will be duly noted somewhere on the Internet.

The regular press is not interested in the least.

Early yesterday morning I read a story about a man in the U.S.A. whose Comcast hdtv signal was not working properly. It seems that it had to do with comcast compressing bandwith. If I come across the story again I'll post a link.

It's not just one person, it's a whole bunch of people that are having the same problems. Comcast has really been experimenting with their networks lately, blocking p2p, crappy HDTV, net neutrality and a few other things. I feel a change coming on as far as broadband goes. We're not going to like it very much either. I'm glad I am not a Comcast customer, but in the long run, it's still going to suck.

Having a monopoly must bring out the ogre in the company's bosses.

Comcast must be trying to achieve the present status of aol as a company that it is not wise for anyone to be doing any business with!!
