    audio does not come up on SUSE 10.2 IBM thinkpad T60 laptop

    audio does not come up on SUSE 10.2 IBM thinkpad T60 laptop

    I tried to configure it through Yast2 , but successful
    Tried to get the info by tying command grep -i audio which hangs forever.
    I could not find the linux audio driver on the its parent site..

    Can any one suggest some thing

    What is the output of running
    Code:
    /sbin/lspci | grep -i audio
    Also try unmuting the volume levels in your mixer, particularly the PCM and Front (or Speaker) levels. If all else fails, try running the command "alsaconf" as root.
