I have just taken the Linux plunge and am using Fedora 8 for now. I have got everything working so far except the wireless pcmcia card. I was really impressed how easy it was to connect to my Windows network printer etc. I haven't given up on wireless internet yet. I have ndiswrapper installed but have got to figure out how to get ndiswrapper to accept my windows driver. Anyway, any help would be appreciated

    Hello and welcome.
This is a great place to learn and hang out.

If you need help with the wireless, don't be afraid post your questions.

I have an old Dell Insperon laptop which I blew Windows XP off and installed Fedora 8. Everything is working except my wireless card. I have a d-link DWL 620 Revision B PCMCIA wireless card. I have found a set of instructions for Ubuntu 7.10 to set up the card

    The instructions are as follows
install windows wireless driver using add/remove program
open the ndiswrapper installation - How do you do this?
Run the "Windows Wireless Drivers" - How do you do this?

I think I can follow the rest of the instructions. If I get the answer to my 2 questions, I hope I can get the rest installed from there
