Hello to All!
Hi, I am new to Linux, I am playing with PC Linux on a live CD on my desktop that has windows 98SE on it.
When I registered for the forum, I was having trouble installing, something about unable to mount the cd rom...so I was gonna get on here and ask for help!!, but I just moved the CD to the other drive and it worked
I helped myslef. LOL
Anyway, so far I really like what I see, I like the features, its darn near bundled with everything u need.
seems to have good hardware detection as well, I have 2 flash drives, my older 512MB was the only one win98 would read, with PcLinux, it recognizes both the 512 and my 1gb. I really kinda dig this PcLinux, hope to learn more.
Ok, thanks to all,
Rick

Welcome to the forums!
That distribution has never worked well at all for me, but glad it's working out so well for you. Have fun with it, and have fun here on LinuxForums.org.oz
