    New to Linux/Kubuntu. Got tired of license nazis!

    Hello Linux Forums,

    You guys rock! I have been reading posts here for a while and considering my Gnu/Linux options.

    Last week I was having the same old Windows Vista authentication/verification issues and getting nowhere with MS non-assistance online, email, call. 3 AM and stuck in my Kubuntu CD and did a full install, no dual boot for me.

    Just want to thank you for keeping so much info readily available. Have had a few issues but was able to solve them with common sense and research here and linked in posts.

    Thanks from a grateful, liberated, plunge into the deep end new user!

    hello all, im brand new second day user and want to find what i need to open all the files from my external hd it will recognize my pics but now my videos and also i have a sprint internet card i downloaded the drivers for windows but on the site it has no drivers
    for the aircard what can i do if i can get everything i use to work with obuntu 8.04 beta than i will book xp out the door thanks for any advise and have a good week
