Never thought I'd see the day...

Yesterday a lady with the Sheriff's department came into my business, (which is also an Internet Cafe') to show her friend her new laptop she just got from ordering online. I noticed the brand name was "Everex." Something rang a bell and I asked her if I could take a look at the screen. She gladly showed it to me and it was Linux!! Back in 2002 if someone had told me this would happen sometime in the future I likely would have laughed at the improbability. My, how things have changed!

Hey, that's definitely a cool thing to behold.

Hope something like that happens to me some time.

About the closest I have been to that is in a local(ish) shop, looking at their computer/register, and realising it was running Linux.
I believe I blurted out something very 'girly geek' at the time too.

    That's pretty cool.

Did you happen to notice the distro?

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Dude... That's awesome! Now I know Linux has started to come into it's own with the mainstream!
