    Hello

    Hi,
Just a few words to let you all know what you are taking on.

I probably qualify for your 'Old Fogey' section. I am a long time Mac enthusiast who is trying to find out about using Linux so that I can join in making stuff in Flightgear.

I hope there might be other Flightgear users here to help answer my stupid questions.

    Best regards,
    VicMar

    Welcome to the forums VicMar!
You are not alone if you think you are an "Old Fogey". I sometime wonder if these forums are like a Bone Yard for old *nix users. It's where we come to die?! I'd have to think "Old Fogey" begins at 40'ish. So according to this poll, 27% of the people who voted were "Old Fogeys" in my book.

Hey, that nearly makes me one! Darn! But didn't you know that life begins at 40! And it's true! I feel younger now than I did five years ago - and you're only as old as you feel, after all!

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.
