    need allitle help with a windows program

    i know this is a Linux forum but what the heck this is the best place to find help for anything.

    is anyone familiar with the program windows live mail?
    Windows Live Mail

    well my problem is when i moved from hotmail to Gmail (best decision anyone can make) i have almost 200 plus emails that i want to keep for records and stuff.but i have no idea where windows live mail stores them. or if its even possible to store them on you computer without the program.

    Hmm, I would have thought you would seek out some M$ Windows forum for such a question.

    It appears that Google says a lot about this topic; "transfer live mail to gmail" ... you should take a look as there are different instructions based on what email utilities you have at your disposal.

    for awhile there i thought it wouldnt work becuase it said i needed to buy microsoft office,
    but.......
    i found the folders the messages are stored in and installed thundebird so i could read them.
    yes! i dont have to cough up 80 dollars haha
