    Post Completed RHCE, Whats next?

    Hi guys,
    I had completed the RedHatCertifiedEngineer before 3 months.
    And got a job as a Linux Admin.

    Whats shall i do next to advance in Linux?

    meaning any books or other certification to know the advanced in Linux.
    ??

    1> Learn to a guru level Perl. You'll need it 90% of the time as a sysadmin.
    2> Learn Python, as its a great language and you can contribute a lot to the community,
    then...

    How about writing:
    a> Linux Driver for a unknown but useful device.

    b> Developing a system data collector that gathers system, process, thread and user data for a system admin to debug and fix the cause of user problems.

    c> Developing short filters and tasks that you publish to the Linux community to help make everyone else's job easier.

    That's my 2C worth of suggestions.

    Well i think debug collector is within my knowledge.
    Let me try that.

    As for the support thingy, im already doing that.
