    Hello from a Linux newbie

I changed jobs and after 10 years on Solaris, the new shop is on Red Hat EL 5. I am a developer and essentially things are the same, howerver, there are some commands I guess that were Solaris specific. Hope to learn a lot here and contribute what I can.

    Hi Manny,
    And welcome to Linuxforums!

I might just tug your coat on OpenSolaris somewhere down the road. For now though, I'm just enjoying my experiences with Linux. I look forward to enjoying your contributions.

    Peace,

    qv
