Spammer Edward Davidson is fined $715,000.00 by the I.R.S. and has to serve 21 months in a Federal ( country club ) lockup. They estimated that he earned 3.5 million spamming emails for a group of companies.

If I had my way everything that this guy owns would be confiscated and he would be sentenced to 15 to 20 years in prison. If I had my way every company that used his services would be fined 20 million apiece and their directors given 10 year jail terms.

There is no deterence in just giving these guys a " slap on the wrist ".

Add that to the fact that (if he was smart) he probably moved quite a bit into an account that will only gain interest during his stay in the, as cousinlucky called it, "Federal Country Club". Gotta love it...

Hopefully, this guy will run ( many, many times ) into the prison " shiv " of a relative of one of his victims. Then Justice will finally be served!!

Was this tax, fine, and fraud or evasion charges by the IRS? Seems like the FTC spam people would have had a hand in this somehow.

Please pardon me but when I read the story I got ultra-livid and way, way beyond any rational thought.
The I.R.S. got some money on the estimated plunder this guy amassed.

The guy goes to a Federal pen for 21 months and then he'll be out resuming his nefarious money making activities. No one gives a rat's ass about his many, many victims; nor does anyone seek to punish the many companies that paid him to spam.

In my book it's just not Right!!!!
