Hey everyone.
New to this forum. Relatively new to Linux (6 months).
Did anyone have trouble creating a new thread directly after registering as a new member? I get a permission error message (my cookies are enabled) and yet I am able to post in here.

That was the issue yes. I wasn't able to create new threads except in here, in the coffee lounge, but I've just gone and tried again and now it works.
