    A Strange Request

I got an email heads up last night that my rant on Pardus Linux 2007.1 has gone missing. I thought at the time it would be a simple case of re-uploading the rant, but apparently it's been missing for several months and I no longer have it in any of my backups.

I know it existed (in an incomplete form) around December of 2007, because an old backup I dug up from that time had a partially-completed version of it. I also know that it disappeared some time before April of this year because the archive I have for that month doesn't have it anymore.

Does anyone know of a way I might be able to retrieve the file? I tried the WayBack Machine, but they didn't have a record of that particular rant. Any ideas?

Hi Moe - does your ISP have a backup copy?

I very much doubt it, but I can ask.

Worst case scenario, I'll either re-do it or just drop the link to it on the site. I don't remember there being anything particularly ground-breaking about it.
