    I have installed Redhat 9... I'm downloading Fedora. Which is more friendly?
    You know, I've a Windows user all my life and starting this is a kind new exciting experiece.
    I'll be bugging you with questions for I don't have a single clue on how to use Linux.

    To answer your question about RH and Fedora, RH9 is quite old and no longer supported. Fedora 9 on the other hand is the latest version.
    The difference between Red Hat and Fedora is that Fedora is a free testing ground for new packages and software that will eventually be included in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise.
