    my intro

    Hi Ho

    Da name is Scott.

I don't know what to say.

Upon further reflection... I have a eee pc surf linux 2g model which I bought from radio shack (I'm old fashion and will call them radio shack until i die ;-> ) very new to linux but back in the late '90s in did install redhat on a partitioned windows 98 machine.

I really like this version so far and i was hoping linux would be improved over the years.

Something personal - sitting at the library in a very comfortable armchair posting over wifi listening to the theme from peter gun. Know the the video game spyhunter from the 80s? same tune. now for some blues brothers. I live in dartmouth nova scotia

I guess that enough for now, bye

    Welcome to LinuxForums, Scott!

I hope you enjoy Linux as much as I do!
And, yes, I remember Spy Hunter... I think I still have the old NES cartridge somewhere.

Post if you have any questions. And, again, welcome to the Forums!

Did they have a name change recently? They are still Radio Shack where I live.

Theme from Peter Gunn What a cool tune. Henry Mancini at the height of his powers. 50 years later and it's still just as cool.

    Welcome to the forums Sandesh

Hope you enjoy your time here ... and get the phone to talk ... you might want to try lsusb and check the phone is listed rather than assuming its mounted somewhere in /media ... I don't have that phone so probably can't help much.

Anyway ... see you around the forums.

Ed: and welcome to the forums Scott.
