Download video from Vidiac.com?

Has anyone been able to actually do this? I installed a plug-in for Firefox
on both my Ubuntu and Windows desktops, but neither seems to actually
grab the video from the website. I have a couple entries that a friend is
wanting to download for his archives, but I'm having no luck at all.

You might want to try clive, which is a video grabber for Youtube, Metacafe, Google Vid etc.

you use it by simple issuing: clive http://www.vidurl.com/blablabla

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think it supports Vidiac.

$ clive http://www.vidiac.com/video/[video].htm
clive/0.4.3 (linux2; python/2.5.2; urlgrabber/3.1.0)
[logn] [playff] [encodeff] [throttleff] [exists:skip]
error: unsupported host (http://www.vidiac.com/video/[video].htm)
queue: 0 (total: 0.000MB), failed: 1, skipped: 0.
error: nothing to extract.
