Slitaz was kind of kicky and original. Not my personal cup of tea, but such is life. Could not get Deli to work, but then again, I can't get second dates to work out either, so who knows? Tiny Me didn't seem to fly on my CPU. Damn Small was the best of the "really, really small" systems. Puppy still seems to take the cake on total newbie-ism and goes onto a flash drive like nobody's business. (Berry Linux was sort of half fun and cute.) Funny thing is, Puppy actually sometimes exceeds huge installs for sheer functionality on the ye ol' planet Earth thing. Slax was the most compelling desktop of the live CDs that had somewhat medium-small systems on them. Too darn bad I could only get it to work on my Mac via a Q Emulator, but not on my PC. But there is some yicky bit of hardware that slackware distros don't like on my machine and the screen always gets overtaxed and crashes. Maybe in a few years when I get better hardware.
