Howdy From Houston - Kinda new to Linux.

Hey all. This is one of my first posts. I am from houston, Tx.
I am kinda newb to linux but I have messed with it time to time over the years.
I have done basic installs of Redhat, Mandrake, and currently Ubuntu Media edition 7.10. I run a dual boot machine now, Windows XP(eww) SP3 and Ubuntu Studio 7.10.

I originally came here for some help with a wireless card -

ANYWAYS.(i say that a lot....beware)

Yeah. I am trying to ween my self off of windows cus I am tired of wasting my money on there [expletive deleted]. Vista can [expletive deleted]. I hate it. and plus.
My favorite music program(DAW) Renoise just got ported to Linux and I thought what a great time to tottally switch to Linux all the way cus I LOVE how smoothy it runs and how it never crashes on me. and plus Ubuntu Studio is TITS!!!! I love the Video and Picture editing, although I find some of the Audio editing aplications is kinda lacking but I know since Linux s open source, someone will help fix it. If I had the knowledge I would but yeah....I dont.

But that why I am here. Anyways.

Sorry about my intro post is really long but yeah. I am kinda excited! I cant wait to delete windows.
