You have a lot of time on your hands. The cars look really slick. I particularly like SCO.

I really like the one for Slackware... not because it's Slackware or anything, but that Power Wagon just looks awesome, it's hard seeing those, even on the internet. Also, not really sure how CRUX has anything to do with a drag racer. Every other one was right on the money.

They look great Dan. I mean each car seems to fit the right distro. You have - however - opened the door to me quoting from a great American novel written by John Steinbeck; 'Cannery Row'.

Steinbeck stated that, at the time of writing, 'Americans knew more about the Ford coil than the clitoris'. I sincerely hope this doesn't get your thread locked, but I'm playful by nature.

I hope the same can't be said of Linux distros!

I have no idea what a Ford coil is, a simple Dutchman like me tends to focus on what is easy to grasp *oops* I mean what is, availability wise, more widespread *whoops* I mean ... ehm ... did I miss out on something?? I mean, Ford coils??... never heard of them :s

I have a feeling that the SCO car is what techiemoe would think of slackware as judging by his rants

Not normally, but I did today. I woke up with a miserable Summer cold and felt terrible. Stayed in the house almost all day. I was looking for a way to pass the time...

I recently bought a 91 Dodge RAM truck and have become enthralled with Power Wagons! I thought if any vehicle matched Slackware's legendary stability, robustness and performance, the classic Dodge Power Wagon is certainly a viable candidate. Bidi, you'll enjoy this... The largest Power Wagon on earth as reported by BBC World. This is a great website for all things Power Wagon!

CRUX, it is a very stripped down and light distro that is really fast but needs a lot of attention and work to get it tweaked just right. I think the same can be said about a top fuel dragster...

Lol... I sure didn't today! The last thing you want to do when you have a miserable cold with fever is to go outside in the South Carolina humidity on a 100 degree day!

So, what would a Mandriva car look like? I can't get a mental picture of that.
