    Howdy from Texas!

    Howdy Everyone,

New to Linux, just loaded Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy on an old junker that I had just to try it out, so far not too many problems. Hope to make a few friends and learn a little about an OS besides Windows.

Welcome... I'm told everything's big in Texas. I hope that doesn't include computer problems.

Hehe, trial and error is how I have been going about learning.

Just make sure you store you downloads etc on another drive so you dont loose anything important if you decide to change distros or mess something up.
