I think that my unborn son is favoring his mother already.

There will be a mothers day for her before I get to have a fathers day
I would love a day of beer and lots of sleep.... oh wait thats a normal weekend ^_^

My daughter always has a smile for me when I get home, thats all I would ever expect...that and not bringing home any boys I don't approve of later when that time comes. She is just about 1 so I have a ways to start worrying about that. Her birthday is at the end of the month.

My grandfathers belief is that the first seven years of any childs life are the years that are the most important. He did not believe in childish foolishness. He also did not believe in wasted time. Life was hard on children in the 1940's ( my father died in ww II , so I never knew him ). The world was at war and seemed like it always would be.

Every parent has the right to raise their children any which way that they want to. My familly harshly instilled in us the knowledge and strength to lead good lives.

My grandfather said if I wanted hugs to go to the women. He told me a few times that he did not care if I liked him or not. He said it was his job to be hard on me and he was. My chest would get might big, though, whenever I pleased him. When I didn't I got the razor strap that hung on the back of the bathroom door.

Your children expect things from you all of the time when they are small, but when they get older they will realize all of the sacrifices that you made for them.
