    i would gust like to say Hi to everybody all the best i joined because
    i cant stand windows any more but still want to use torrents and am
    trying to find out if they can be used on linux the same way as windows
    any help would be great best regards jovie

    Hi jovie and welcome to the forums. There's a world of bit torrent clients for Linux. Here's a good place to start.

    Top native Linux BitTorrent clients | HowTo Ubuntu

    Most can be installed with the Synaptic package manager which is in your menu. Coming from Windows, you might appreciate Azureus the most.

    Yeah, using Linux with torrents is a lot more fun I think than with Windows.

    ive dowloaded mandriva 2008 and am about to install it i believe i can
    load the whole OS and the extras on harddrive then install thanks all
    help is very welcome i think ill be needing more before im used to linux
