    Introduction

    Hi all, I'm ozbod

    Following the suggestion of the admins, I am just introducing myself to the forum(s)

    Have been wanting to try linux for a few years now, but following the tech mags and not really having space on my old(er) machine I have delayed my introduction (other than a live CD view)

    Now, having built a new machine, and making sure I have space, I have dual loaded Vista and, Ubuntu 8.04 (isn't everyone)

    Initial reaction is "great", but still some learning curves and some perception changes.

    Previously my "masters" have restricted me to a windows environment (ie windows solutions only) but I am looking to expand my knowledge into the linux environment.

    Anyway, nice to meet and hope over time that I can play a part in the future "explosion" that linux now seems to be creating
