Wow, I saw it the night before last, at the midnight showing. I won't give anything away, but it was simply amazing. It was a lot denser with content than Batman Begins, but not bloated. Heath Ledger was chilling, he doesn't look or act like himself at all, it's a real shame he won't be coming back. There were four theaters full of people at the midnight showing way out in my measly little suburbs. Even if you didn't like Batman Begins, you really have to see this movie. The Joker's antics give way to these brilliant social experiments and systemically Goldbergian action sequences that can't be replicated anywhere else. I would even say (and I hope I'm not angering anyone with this) that his personification of the joker clearly surpasses Nicholson's two decades ago.

Have seen it. Is good.

Word or warning for people that are still going to see it. Go to the toilet before hand. SERIOULSY, it's a long movie.

i didn't notice that it was long....
perhaps because it got me hooked pretty tight,

anyway, it's very rare to say that a sequel tops the previous film, but this is just KABOOM good,

really splendid mixture, the up close action scenes and the twisted events ( yup, twisted events, not twisted plots, twisted plots are obsolete )

layer upon layer, this is pretty good, really good,
can everyone here do themselves a favor and watch it in the theaters? hehe...

anyway, my default KDE installation of Debian Etch has a neat Matrix screensaver, wonder if someone can make batsy, like the batman begins / flash for windows...

The reviews posted at The Internet Movie Database are all pretty much describing it as outstanding. I think the current score from reviewers is now a 9.7 out of a possible 10.

Guess I'll make the long drive to the theater to see it as soon as the crowds die down a bit.

Thanks for all the feedback.

I'm going to the cinema to watch this one. I haven't been for ages, but I want to see Heath Ledger on the big screen. I'm a big fan of the Bat...

Yeah, I read that Ledger literally steals the show in all his scenes.

I wouldn't say that. The joker has always been a few cans short of a six pack and to show they have to show him alot in any scene that involves him. Pretty much if he talks cam is on him.

I am not going to jump on the Heaths dead so now he is shear awsome sauce topped with awsome cream in his final movie bandwagon.

I am starting to think that alot of the reviews where over done and are primarily concentrated on Heath because if his death and they don't want to sound like a prick.

It's a great movie, acting from all parts was good, there weren't the stupid 1 liners they try to fit in so they can have a line that make people remember the movie by.
Ie 'Precious' in lord of the rings.

It flowed well, wasn't hard to follow and very dark.

Honestly see the movie, it's worth it and I mean theres no screeners around yet and you really won't want to see this on a cam or ts version.

Just saw this movie today. Very good. A worthy sequel to Batman Begins. It's a damn shame Heath Ledger can't reprise the role.

I haven't seen the movie but a friend of mine, who is about as suspicious of things as anyone can get and was also worried that Heath Ledger's performance was going to be over-praised because of his death, saw the movie and said that he thought he was good enough to win all the awards if he hadn't have died. My friend's not much for hyperbole either so I'm inclined to believe him.

I should probably see the movie anyways but why should I spend all that money to go to the theaters when there are so many good movies waiting in my Netflix queue?

I've got tickets to see it Thursday at the IMAX -- I'm J.A.C.K.E.D!

I was listening to the radio and two DJs were talking about how Heath "redeemed" himself in this movie after his role in brokeback mountain, but both had swore they had never seen it...then right before they cut to the next song one of them squeezes in "I not gonna quit you man"
